Job Description
This is a great job for a Housekeeper/Nanny to work for a friendly British family who live in Tunbridge Wells area. The family have two children of 8 & 5. The house is a 3 storey, large detached 4x bedroom family house, 4x bathrooms, snug, double reception room, large kitchen dinner and basement with gym and cinema. Pool house and spa. There is a gardener/handyman that also works here. The role is , the role is split 80/20 between housekeeper and nanny roles.
Candidate Requirements
- Making sure the house is clean and well presented at all times.
- Cleaning, dusting, household plant care, decluttering/tidying
- Laundry and ironing, including the care of fine fabrics
- Driving for drop off, pickup and running errands.
- Helping with the children nursery pick-ups, bathtime and bedtime.
- helping with groceries and running errands.
- Cooking for the family – they are not looking for a chef but for someone who can help cook fresh healthy family style meals and some baking
- Restocking fridges with drinks, etc and assisting with putting away Ocado / shopping deliveries.
- Watering and caring for household plants.
- Assisting with deliveries, tradesmen, suppliers, and contractors
- Supervision of the Children whilst at home during working hours.
- Providing a safe environment for the Children and identifying the potential dangers ni and around the Home.
- Assisting with and supervising stimulating and child centred activities with age- appropriate activities for each of the Children during school holidays.
It is essential that you have at least 3 years’ experience working as a housekeeper and be child friendly, with cooking, in an executive style private home. You will need to speak good English and be able to organise your own day and your own work. You will need to be a driver.
Days of Work and Salary
- Monday to Friday (over time will be paid)
- 9am – 6pm
- £40-45K
- Immediate start but will wait for the right person
