Temporary Daily Live In Dog Nanny/Vet Nurse - Own Accommodation - £3-5K PW - On call 24/7 (1 month)

Family Description and Location:

Lovely friendly family with a three-year-old Golden Retriever who is waiting for cruciate ligament surgery and hip replacement are in need of a Doggie nurse to assist with recovery. The operation is likely the last week in April. The family live in Chigwell, 20 mins walk to the Chigwell station. The home has a lovely garden with seating area. The home is located in beautiful countryside. 
 
Job Description:

The family require 24 hour on call while their furry friend recovers from his operation.
Duties will include:

• supporting the dog going out and gentle exercise 
• Assisting doggie family with care
• Organising a recovery plan
• Wound care and dressing changes
• Communicate any issues with vets. 
• Record recovery and food consumption daily
• Helping plan house set up for recovery.
• 24 hour on call

 
Candidate Requirements:

• A experienced dog sitter with a gentle nature
• Qualified in animal care.
• Ideally veterinary Nurse
• Temporary live in availability
• Driver is not essential but in order for the dog nanny to get around and go out when needed a driver with own care might be suitable.

 
Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary:

Up to 4 weeks temporary live in doggie care
7 days a week on call- with breaks and lots of down time while doggie is resting or with family.
Accommodation offered will be own room- sitting room and bathroom within the family home. Meals and Internet provided
Salary will be between £3-5k gross per week DOE and Qualifications
