Family Description and Location

A warm and welcoming British family are seeking an experienced, professional Live-out Nanny Housekeeper to join them in their beautifully renovated Victorian townhouse in Richmond. The family home is approximately 2,500 sq ft with five bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. The property has been thoughtfully renovated with modern finishes, wooden flooring throughout and minimal furnishings, making it straightforward to maintain. The family have two young children, a one-month-old baby and a 21-month-old toddler who attends playgroup several days each week. A Night Nurse provides support during the week with the newborn. Mum is at home full-time, while Dad works from home running several businesses. They are looking for someone who is discreet, calm, professional and happy to work alongside the family whilst respecting their privacy. They also have two friendly indoor cats.

Job Description
This is a long-term position combining high-quality housekeeping with childcare support.
Responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining the home to a consistently high standard.
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management.
• Weekly bed linen changes.
• General household organisation.
• Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy.
• Monitoring household supplies.
• Assisting with light kitchen preparation when required.
• Supporting Mum with the children as needed.
• Caring for the toddler when appropriate.
• Playgroup drop-offs and collections (approximately a five-minute walk from the family home).
• Children’s laundry and keeping their bedrooms organised.

Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience working as a Nanny Housekeeper within a private household.
• Have experience caring for babies and toddlers.
• Have a good standard of spoken and written English.
• Be organised, proactive and able to work independently.
• Be discreet, trustworthy and professional.
• Be warm, kind and genuinely enjoy working with young children.
• Be comfortable working alongside parents who are often at home.
• Be comfortable around cats.
• Hold excellent checkable references.

Days of Work, Hours and Salary

• Monday to Friday.
• 8:00am to 5:00pm.
• Live-out. 
• Richmond, South West London.
• Salary: £50,000–£55,000 gross per annum, negotiable depending on experience.
• Start date: As soon as possible, although the family are happy to wait for the right candidate.
