Family Description and Location
 
A family living in Dulwich with two children aged 6 and 3 years, are looking for a Temporary daily Nanny.  The family require a Nanny within an easy commute to step in the shoes of their long-term Nanny. Ideally someone who has had experience working with children aged 6 and 3 years and has some knowledge of age and stage and the UK school curriculum in order to assist with homework. Both children attend a local school within walking distance of the family home. 
The position will run from the end December/early January until March 2025 and will cover leave for their long-standing Nanny. There are no pets at home but there is a part time housekeeper to do the cleaning. 
 
Job Description
 
While the children are school the family would like their Nanny to assist with the running of the family home and complete nursery duties to include:
 

• Children’s Laundry
• Organising children’s wardrobe
• Managing all child related areas
• Cooking health meals
• Homework assistance

• Escorting Children to appointments
• School runs (school is a short walk)
• Swimming support
• Ensuring a routine is followed set by the current Nanny and family.
• Creating a positive environment

 
Candidate Requirements
 
This position will suit a warm and friendly Nanny who is happy to communicate with the current Nanny and work as a team, in order to make the transition for the children as easy as possible. Only Candidates who are confident Swimmers can apply as the younger child needs assistance when having lessons. A driver is not required however an easy commute is essential for time keeping.
 
Days of Work and Salary
 

• Monday to Friday
• 7am-7pm with occasional babysits.
• Salary will be £18-20 per hour Gross DOE
