The family are relocating to Notting Hill in March 2026, but from October 2025 to March, they’ll be travelling extensively between the UK and Germany, including a longer trip to South Africa.

Job Description:
 
This is a wonderful opportunity for a confident, caring and adaptable Nanny who enjoys travel and supporting a young family through key milestones.
You’ll work in both sole charge and shared care settings, depending on the parents' schedule. Your main focus will be the baby’s wellbeing, development and routine, with duties including:

  • Full nursery care (laundry, tidiness, clothing and equipment organisation)
  • Preparing and sterilising bottles
  • Feeding, weaning and introducing solids
  • Supporting naps, sleep routines and sleep training
  • Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and sensory play
  • Bath and bedtime support
  • Ensuring all baby-related items are clean, packed and ready – especially when travelling
  • Helping with travel logistics: packing, equipment, and adjusting routines across time zones
  • Sharing a room with the baby while abroad if required
  • Assembling/storing travel cots, prams, carriers, etc.
  •  

This role will suit someone with great attention to detail, initiative, and a naturally calm and nurturing personality.

Candidate Requirements:
 
You’ll need to be a qualified, career nanny with solid baby experience and a flexible, can-do approach to travel and changing routines.
 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience caring for babies
  • Childcare qualification (e.g. CACHE, NVQ Level 3, Norland or equivalent)
  • Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
  • Confident driver with clean licence
  • Valid passport (no travel restrictions)
  • Fluent English (German a bonus, not essential)
  • Excellent references and enhanced DBS
  • Genuine interest in supporting early development and baby milestones

Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary:
 

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8- 10 hours per day plus 2 evenings of babysitting
  • Accommodation:
  • While travelling: Shared family accommodation (hotels/villas), occasionally sharing room with the baby
  • In London: Live-out preferred, but live-in can be arranged
  • Salary: £50,000–£65,000 gross per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
